SHRC x Bakers & Baristas: Run Across Haiti Fundraiser Dinner

  • Bakers & Baristas 11700 South Street Artesia United States (map)

Come join us at the Social Hour Run Club x Bakers & Baristas: Fundraiser at 7:30PM. We'll have a 3 mile run starting at Bakers & Baristas, followed by dinner starting around 8:30PM. Our guests will be served a "Kamayan Feast," which is a Filipino feast in which you eat unimaginable amounts of food off banana leaves at a communal table, without any utensils whatsoever (but they'll be available if you need them).

$40/person will cover your dinner, (1) beverage (beer included), and a raffle ticket to win a prize. An additional fundraiser ticket can be purchased for $5, or 5 tickets for $20. Prizes include items from Plantronics, lululemon, Split Nutrition, and more.

A portion of the dinner proceeds and all raffle ticket sales will go to Social Hour Run Club's Founder Donovan Querubin and his Run Across Haiti Fundraiser. All money collected for the fundraiser that night will be doubled. He will be running 200 miles in 8 days across the country of Haiti to show that Haiti is not a place to be feared, and to help end poverty in the community of Menelas by providing dignified jobs to families. The Run Across Haiti event is put on every year by the non-profit organization WORK.
